This large steel framed barn has recently been granted Prior Notification under Class Q and approved for change of use from Agricultural to Dwelling.

This large barn is to be converted into a 5 bedroom dwelling, which boast the inclusion of a gym and endless pool as well as spectacular views of the Warwickshire countryside. Planning success in Oxford

Outline planning has been obtained for the redevelopment of a disused MOT garage located in Oxford. This tightly woven site situated along Garsington Road in Oxford has successfully obtained outline permission for a mixed use development comprising of 9 x 2 bed flats, 257 sq m of B1 office space and associated car parking, cycle parking, bin stores and landscaping.

Works begin on new dwelling in Welford on Avon

Works have begun on a new dwelling in Welford’s Conservation area. The proposed new house is contemporary in design however discreetly blends itself into the mature garden landscape. The materials used will be a contemporary blue brick laid to quarter bond, white render and a glazed oak framed entrance which reflects the white render and timber framing of the listed building adjacent to the site. The proposal also incorporates contemporary style aluminium windows to the rear with minimal sight lines which will allow the building to reflect back its surroundings in an elegant and formal manner.

Planning granted in Ebrington’s AONB

Planning has been granted for a sensitive housing scheme at the edge of of Ebrington in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The project was approved after five years of collaboration between the owners; Carver Knowles, the Parish Council and District Council. The scheme developed by MRT includes 3 dwellings and a car park that can serve the village and provide off road parking for the local pub. The design reflects the local vernacular and is barn like in appearance with local limestone and stone slates laid to diminishing courses.

Planning Permission has been granted to alter, extend and rejuvenate an existing dwelling in Dartmouth.

MRT have remodeled a tired 1970’s split level house to create a large family unit working with the existing building. The design will improve the property both visually and functionally in keeping with other rejuvenated houses in the surrounding area.
