MRT Update Covid-19

The MRT team are working from both our Stratford office and Cotswold Studio or from their homes, enabling us to achieve the social distancing measures which the government and health authorities have suggested in order to slow COVID-19’s spread. Foundations started at new dwelling in Broadway

The Archaeologists have completed the dig and the foundations excavations are underway for this new dwelling in the heart of historic Broadway. Planning permission was granted for a two storey traditional Cotswold Stone House and we look forward to sharing the on-site progress with you.

Moving in day for clients in Broadway

Delighted client moving into their new home in Broadway. Another sucessful collaboration between MRT architects and Cotswold Oak Ltd.
The house was designed in the Broadway Cotswold style with an 0pen plan kitchen living and dining room, vaulted master bedroom with oak frame point windows with solar control blinds and media room.

Prior Notification under Class Q approved for change of use from Agricultural to Dwelling in Warwickshire

This large steel framed barn has recently been granted Prior Notification under Class Q and approved for change of use from Agricultural to Dwelling.

This large barn is to be converted into a 5 bedroom dwelling, which boast the inclusion of a gym and endless pool as well as spectacular views of the Warwickshire countryside. The proposal totalling 4865sq ft of floor space, is set within the existing steel portal frame which retains the agricultural character with proposed timber boarding and a large glazed kitchen / dining hall.

Planning success in Oxford

Outline planning has been obtained for the redevelopment of a disused MOT garage located in Oxford. This tightly woven site situated along Garsington Road in Oxford has successfully obtained outline permission for a mixed use development comprising of 9 x 2 bed flats, 257 sq m of B1 office space and associated car parking, cycle parking, bin stores and landscaping.
