Steel Frame erected at Grade II listed Cottage

A glavernised exposed steel frame will support a new roof and a skyframe minimal glass wall extension to this Grade II listed cottage. The blend of old and new is a good way of making an architectural contribution to a 17th Century Cottage. The extension is clearly of our time and gives a new lease of life to this historic architecture.

The Skyframe sliding doors have now been installed and the interior design features the galvanised steel frame exposed between mdf panels alongside the original brick wall to remain exposed. The contemporary blend of new and old awaits the handleless kitchen which is to sit on a concrete tiled floor.
