Not long now until the summer sun pours through these windows to accent the space further.

Spring is nearly here!

It is nearly spring time at this property in Welford on Avon with flowers pushing through the newly landscaped garden. The house is complete now to a high standard after a year long build in the centre of the conservation area and the grounds of a listed building. This new dwelling was originally refused planning permission but successfully overturned to allow permission after an appeal to the inspector of state who considered the design to be good and appropriate to its setting.

Castle Moreton

Our friends family and clients are on the move now that their exciting project is complete. They suceeded with a winning bid at auction to purchase a small rundown house on the edge of the Malvern Hills at Castle Moreton, Worcestershire. After a lengthy battle with the planners a two storey extension and internal alterations were granted detailed planning permission. This development transformed the house and created a third bedroom ensuite, a large bathroom and a ground floor with a living dining kitchen and two further sitting rooms with a utility and boot room. The interior furnishings and overall design has created an amazing house which has now sold in a bidding war with a number of very keen purchasers.

Nearing Completion

The long awaited extension to a grade II listed cottage is nearing completion. Planning approval and listed building consent was granted for a contemporary take on a traditional form. The tiled roof floats on a Swiss Skyframe sliding glazed wall which opens from the corner. The concrete look tiles run inside and out with a level threshold to connect inside to outside and open up to a garden view. We are still waiting for the Italian kitchen to be delivered with stainless steel top to complete the look. Inside, the bathrooms and glazed screens are finished and a lovely balance of old and new is created. Our patient client is pleased with the result and so are we!
