Cox’s Yard

We hear the buzz of a new feature film venue at the MRT Architects Cox’s Yard Development on the banks of the Avon. There are plenty of photo shoot opportunities in and around the historic and new build structures in this riverside setting. There are shots next to and around the listed grade two Georgian era timber drying warehouse the old steam sawmill and the timber cutting shed now a pub restaurant and music venue.

This previously derelict site was a national competition winner for MRT in conjunction with Charles Wells Brewery. The movie location could not be in a more popular place drawing visitors and customers from around the world in normal times.

Look out for ‘there’s always hope’ due to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May next year. Hopefully for the return of the cinemas when it is released in Autumn 2021.
